- Preparation and analysis of safe practices at work site. Preparation of safe work procedure. Monitoring HSE performance & conducting internal HSE audits.
- Improve HSE awareness and to assist in hazard identification, risk assessment and emergency preparations through training initiatives.
- Advising all project personnel regarding safe working practices and safety consciousness, ensuring that authorized programs of accident prevention and emergency evacuation are in place, ability to perform methodological and analytical incident investigations to high standard and implement precautionary actions and follow-up audits & reports.
- Reviews accidents and makes recommendation for prevention of similar future incidents at site
- Prepares daily, weekly, monthly project safety reports, toolbox meetings report and maintain in contractor safety filling system.
- Control of site activities by work permit system, daily inspection for all safety equipment's such as fire extinguishers, safety harness, ladders, scaffolding, PPE ,..etc.
- Develops loss prevention program, Hazard Identification Plan (HIP), fire plan and emergency evacuation plan.
- Daily inspection of site locations observing activities, investigating health and safety complaints and ensuring that the works are in compliance with the approved safety regulations.
- Coordinate and consult with the Project Manager & Field Engineers regarding health and safety issues in their respective areas and notify management staff regarding violation of safety regulations and codes.
- Analyze hazards and develop anticipated risk assessments.
- Develop policies, plans and procedures to minimize risk to the public and employees.
- Conducts weekly lectures for general safety orientation & schedule a range of specialized training programs for all the site staff.
- Develops, prepares and distributes safety promotional materials.
