Job Description



You will form an integral part of the site’s ground-based team, you will assist the drillers to complete the works safely and in a timely manner.



Duties and Responsibilities:



· Ensuring the cleanliness and integrity of the drilling sample, marking it and placing it in its sample box.



· assist in moving drilling equipment from one site to another.



· Connect power cables , water and air supply hoses.



· Digging and cleaning mud pits and drains.



· Mixing and testing of drilling fluids, chemicals and grout.



· Operating equipment, such as air, water and slurry pumps.



· Perform minor maintenance and repairs, including lubrication and cleaning.



· Cleaning and maintenance of drilling equipment and site



Qualifications



· Minimum 3 years’ experience



• knowledge of drilling techniques, core orientation, and downhole survey tools.



• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment.



· Understanding of safety standards, mine site regulations, and environmental practices.



• Physical fitness and ability to work long shifts in challenging outdoor conditions.



• Safety-conscious and detail-oriented.
