- We are looking for a Manufacturing Manager for our busy plant based in Al Khobar, KSA.
- The successful candidate will be able to effectively set up and run the production and quality for our Manufacturing services in-line with company and customer policies, procedures and systems, ensuring compliance with Statutory Regulations utilizing good industry practices.
- Act as primary point of contact for Location Management & Regional and/or Local Business Unit Managers and the role is measured by the accurate fulfillment of job specific processes before, during and after inspection, and the quality of the Location Management & Regional and/or Local Business Unit Managers interaction.
- Key responsibility for the Manufacturing Manager is to ensure that our Manufacturing activity is operated and working within the company and their customer’s procedures and requirement.
Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- To ensure all Quality Assurance and HSE Procedures are followed. Ensuring that process needed for IMS system are established, implemented and maintained.
- Performs the work on improvement of the organization of production, its technology, mechanization and automation of production operations, warning of defective and improvement in the quality of products, savings of all forms of resources, introduction of the progressive forms of the organization of labor, certification and rationalization of work sites, use of reserves for an increase in the productivity of labor and reduction in the production costs.
- Coordinates the work of masters and shop services. Accomplishes the selection of personnel, their arrangement and expedient use.
- Controls of observance of rules and regulations of the industrial safety and safety of techniques, production and working discipline, of rules of internal working routine by the workers. Organizes work on an increase in the qualification of the workers of shop.
- Develop and implement the Quality Management System for Manufacturing services.
- Liaise with clients on all Manufacturing related aspects in KSA.
- Set KPIS and ensure they’re met and recorded into the system.
- Control inventory of plant and Manufacturing equipment.
- Maintain company safety policies.
- Visit Clients when required.
- Ensure there are resources adequate to run the department.
- Train local personnel to a competent level.
- Responsible for efficient organization of Manufacturing area, equipment and personnel to ensure department provides a professional service to internal and external customers.
- Overseeing the Manufacturing Company owned and third party equipment in accordance with relevant company, customer and industry standards.
- Ensure all Manufacturing equipment is maintained and calibrated ign accordance with company, customer and industry standards at all times and that all documentation and/or certification relative to equipment is retained on file for traceability purposes.
- Interface with operations department to enable planning for training of the workshop technicians
- Ordering Manufacturing consumables and assets.
- Controlling and supervising the filling systems Manufacturing repairs reports
- Insure that all Inspection and Manufacturing personnel will have all the required training according to national and international regulations.
- Regularly attend safety meetings to discuss and resolve any QHSE issues ensuring any relevant recommendations are applied within the Inspection area.
- Work as part of a team in the resolution of non-conformances and the reduction of future non-conformances with a view to improving client satisfaction.
- Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfill these.
8 -10 years’ experience as Production, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain Management & of Manufacturing activity
Higher technical college education. Diploma / Engineering / Business degree Work experience in a similar environment not less than 8 years and not less than 4 years on manager/leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
The prospect for the technical development of organization and shop;
The technical specifications, imposed on the production of shop (section), the technology of its production;
The equipment of shop and rule of its technical operation;
Valid situations on the payment of labor and form of material encouragement;
Foremost domestic and foreign experiment in the area of the carrying out of analogous production; the basis of the economy, organization of labor, production and control;
The basics of legislation about the labor codes of the Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia
Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate staff.
Must have demonstrated good working knowledge of the Manufacturing equipment used by the company, and a full understanding of all required maintenance.
