Duties and Responsibilities:

- Perform the inspections needed to evaluate different production processes. Coordinate with the production foremen and supervisor to improve the uncontrolled variations and shortcomings of any process, and bring them under control.

- Inspect the quality of semi-finished and finished products for Alamal set of standards, and establish level of confidence by random sampling of packaging units of finished products after completing the production process.

- Monitor and verify the set of CCPs (Critical Control Points) oPRPs (Operational prerequisite programmes) and CQPs (Critical Quality Points) of the HACCP system, and assure that they are within the critical limits for each production run.

- Follow up implementation of quality system procedures in production.

- Record test results and make Data analysis and coordinate with concerned people for proper actions.

- Follow up Calibration of the weighing scales & other measuring devices inside production & keep record.

- Inspect the effectiveness of the pest control programme inside the plant as well premises on weekly basis. Verify on weekly basis that the pest control devices are in place, maintained and operating in good condition. Submit a report of all findings after every inspection for effectiveness of the pest control programme.

- Inspect the Good Manufacturing Practices inside the factory on daily basis and submit report of all findings after every inspection.

- Verify rejection of materials from the production floor. Follow up segregation of defected materials and corrective actions.

- To assist Quality Manger in Research & development trials (Online as well as Lab trials).

- Propose effective suggestions for continual improvement of the company and any other duties assigned by the superiors.

- To coordinate with the Sanitation Technician in conducting inspection of the sanitation activates of all Factory area as per the planned Master Sanitation schedule and to submit a report of all findings after every sanitation practices.

- To enter the quality parameters for each inspection lot produced in ERP system.

- Replace lab technician in case of his absence.

- To perform any other activities assigned by Department head


Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Food technology, Chemistry, Biology, biochemistry or any related field
