About the Role
We are seeking experienced Sales Engineers to join a leading switchgear manufacturing company based in Muscat, Oman. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in low voltage (LV) and medium voltage (MV) switchgear sales, who are ready to drive business growth in the GCC region. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new client relationships, managing key accounts, and promoting a comprehensive range of switchgear products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the LV and MV switchgear market across Oman and the wider GCC.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and end-users in the electrical and power distribution sectors.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.
- Collaborate with the engineering and project teams to ensure seamless project handover and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in switchgear manufacturing.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of sales experience in switchgear manufacturing, specifically with LV and MV products.
- Regional Knowledge: GCC experience is highly preferred; familiarity with the Omani market is a plus.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of low voltage and medium voltage switchgear, including components, systems, and applications.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Other: Valid driving license and willingness to travel within Oman and the GCC as required.
