Role Overview

WeYouth is seeking two experienced Digital Security Experts to join its Digital Resilience Project in Tunisia. This role focuses on strengthening the digital security posture of civil society organizations through targeted training sessions and hands-on implementation support. The ideal candidates possess deep technical expertise in cybersecurity, digital rights, and risk mitigation strategies, combined with a passion for empowering at-risk communities in Tunisia.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver comprehensive digital security training modules for non-technical staff and activists.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability audits for partner organizations.
• Develop and implement tailored security protocols, including encrypted communications, secure data storage, and incident response plans.
• Provide one-on-one coaching and follow-up support to ensure effective adoption of security practices.
• Collaborate with project coordinators to contextualize digital resilience strategies for the Tunisian socio-political landscape.
• Monitor emerging threats and update training materials accordingly.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience (3-5 years) in digital security, cybersecurity, or information security, preferably with civil society organizations.
• Strong knowledge of network security, encryption tools (e.g., PGP, Signal, Tor), and secure system administration.
• Familiarity with the digital rights landscape and surveillance risks in Tunisia or the MENA region.
• Excellent training and facilitation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Fluency in Arabic and French (written and spoken); English is a plus.
• Certification in relevant fields (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+) is highly valued.
