About the Role

L'Oréal is seeking a Senior Credit Specialist to join our finance team in Egypt. This role is critical in managing credit risk, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining healthy cash flow across our beauty brand portfolio. You will work closely with sales, finance, and customer service teams to optimize credit policies and support business growth.

Core Responsibilities

• Evaluate and approve credit limits for new and existing customers based on financial analysis and risk assessment.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and implement collection strategies to minimize overdue balances.
• Collaborate with sales teams to reconcile discrepancies and resolve customer billing issues.
• Prepare and present credit risk reports, highlighting key trends and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and external regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of credit decisions and customer communications.
• Support month-end closing processes related to receivables and provisions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit management, accounts receivable, or financial analysis.
• Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment, financial statements, and collection techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, multinational environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the FMCG or beauty industry.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, or equivalent).
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with local credit laws and regulations in Egypt.
