About the Job

We are seeking a Senior Logistics Specialist to join our operations in Egypt. The Senior Logistics Specialist is responsible for providing, monitoring, and analyzing logistics services to ensure the effective delivery of high-quality logistics operations. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes, improve inventory accuracy, and enhance transportation efficiency. As a senior member, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze logistics services to identify opportunities for cost savings and performance improvements.
• Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Oversee inventory management, including cycle counts and reconciliation.
• Manage transportation and freight forwarding activities, optimizing routes and carriers.
• Prepare and present logistics performance reports and KPIs to management.
• Implement process improvements for warehouse operations and distribution.
• Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations, including customs clearance.
• Support the development and training of junior logistics staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in logistics or supply chain roles, with a proven track record of managing complex operations.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, ERP) and best practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities to coordinate across departments.
• Familiarity with Egyptian customs regulations and logistics infrastructure.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
