As a Cyber Recovery Consultant, you will play a critical role in helping organizations safeguard their most valuable data assets against cyber threats and ensure business continuity.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Recovery Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will design, implement, and manage cyber recovery strategies and solutions for clients, ensuring rapid and reliable data restoration in the event of a cyber incident. You will work closely with client stakeholders to assess risks, develop recovery plans, and execute testing to validate resilience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and deployment of cyber recovery frameworks and architectures.
• Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to define recovery objectives.
• Design and implement backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Perform regular testing and simulation exercises to validate recovery capabilities.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to integrate recovery procedures.
• Provide expertise in ransomware recovery, data integrity validation, and secure restores.
• Document recovery plans, runbooks, and best practices.
• Advise clients on industry standards and regulatory compliance related to data protection.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in cyber recovery, disaster recovery, or business continuity planning.
• Deep knowledge of backup technologies, storage systems, and data protection methods.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, etc.).
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid infrastructures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CBCP, CISSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in consulting or professional services.
• Knowledge of ransomware defense and recovery strategies.
• Scripting or automation skills (Python, PowerShell).
