Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the food and beverage operations at voco Cairo Arabella Plaza, the first voco hotel in Egypt. In this role, you will oversee daily restaurant activities, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and drive team performance to uphold the highest standards of hospitality and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and staff scheduling.
• Recruit, train, and mentor team members to deliver outstanding service and maintain a positive work environment.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and adherence to brand standards and health regulations.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and optimize revenue through effective menu engineering and upselling strategies.
• Resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop seasonal menus and promotional offerings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role within a hotel or upscale dining setting.
• Proven track record of leading diverse teams and achieving operational targets.
• Strong understanding of food and beverage cost control, inventory systems, and health and safety compliance.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
