Rose City Catering Company, a leading provider of premium hospitality and catering services in Kuwait, is seeking a skilled and passionate Barista to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for hospitality professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are dedicated to delivering exceptional coffee experiences. Candidates must be currently located in Kuwait.

Core Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide personalized recommendations to enhance their experience.
• Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; assist in stock rotation and ordering to prevent shortages.
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently, handle cash and card transactions, and balance the register at shift end.
• Collaborate with the catering team during events and private functions, setting up mobile coffee stations and delivering consistent service on-site.
• Stay updated on coffee trends, brewing techniques, and product knowledge to continuously improve beverage quality.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar coffee service role (minimum 1 year preferred).
• Excellent knowledge of coffee preparation methods, latte art, and equipment maintenance.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per catering demands.
• Valid residency in Kuwait and ability to work legally in the country.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in high-volume cafés, hotels, or catering companies.
• Certification from a recognized coffee training program (e.g., SCA, Barista Guild).
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Multilingual abilities (English and Arabic) are an advantage.
