About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Coordinator to join our team in Egypt. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented engineering professional with strong expertise in Building Information Modeling, clash detection, and multidisciplinary coordination. You will play a critical role in driving project efficiency, ensuring design accuracy, and facilitating seamless collaboration across technical offices and infrastructure design teams.
Core Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage BIM workflows across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines using Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
- Conduct clash detection, model reviews, and coordination meetings to resolve design conflicts before construction phases.
- Develop and maintain BIM execution plans (BEP), standards, and project-specific modeling protocols.
- Liaise between design teams, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure alignment on project deliverables and timelines.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation in compliance with project specifications.
- Support infrastructure design engineering tasks, ensuring all models meet quality and regulatory standards.
- Mentor junior team members on BIM best practices, software utilization, and coordination methodologies.
- Continuously evaluate and implement new BIM tools and technologies to improve project delivery and team productivity.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator, Senior Technical Office Engineer, or Infrastructure Design Engineer.
- Strong technical background in engineering, architecture, or a related construction discipline.
- Hands-on proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of BIM standards, workflows, and project lifecycle management.
- Ability to read, interpret, and produce complex technical drawings and specifications.
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience working within a consultancy environment on large-scale projects.
- Familiarity with additional BIM tools such as BIM 360, Solibri, or Tekla Structures.
- Knowledge of infrastructure and civil engineering design principles.
- Experience with 4D/5D BIM integration and project scheduling tools.
- Relevant professional certifications in BIM management or Autodesk software.
