About the Role
Tastepoint by IFF is hiring a Logistics Coordinator I to support daily logistics operations, ensuring smooth coordination between supply chain stakeholders, warehouse teams, and distribution channels. This role is critical in maintaining efficient material flow, accurate documentation, and timely delivery performance.
Core Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end logistics activities including inbound and outbound shipments, warehousing, and inventory tracking.
- Monitor shipment schedules and follow up with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery.
- Prepare and maintain shipping documents, purchase orders, delivery notes, and customs paperwork.
- Liaise with warehouse staff to verify stock levels, order accuracy, and storage conditions.
- Track KPIs related to logistics performance, including delivery times, cost efficiency, and order accuracy.
- Resolve shipment discrepancies, delays, and logistics issues through proactive communication and problem-solving.
- Support compliance with company logistics policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Generate regular logistics reports for management review and process improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics coordination, supply chain operations, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with ERP/WMS systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for dealing with vendors, carriers, and internal teams.
- Knowledge of shipping regulations, incoterms, and import/export procedures.
Preferred Skills
