- Follow up curriculum delivery and development

- Monitoring of high quality teaching and learning

- Ensures that all staff are aware of Attainment targets at the different Grade levels.                                                                                                                 

- "Prepares scheme of work of all subjects and its implementation, monitoring progress and supporting teachers."                                                                                                                

- Initiates all Head of Department meetings. Attend meetings as an observer/ advisor as required.                                                                                                                 

- Responsible for checking that exams conform to standards and are error free.                                                                                                                

- Attends classes on a regular basis to ensure that proper teaching is taking place.                                                                                                                 

- "Evaluates teachers for contract renewal, as well as to provide guidance for enhanced performance and help is meted out to those who need it. "                                                                                                                

- Trains teachers and assists the Head of School in inducting them into the school. Makes them aware of required school standards.
