فني تكييف و تبريد/ HVAC Technician (AC)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Technician with 6+ years of hands-on experience in installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems. The candidate must be capable of handling complex systems independently, ensuring optimal performance, safety compliance, and energy efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Commissioning
• Install, test, and commission HVAC systems including DX units, package units, VRF systems, chillers, FCUs, AHUs, and ventilation systems.
• Perform ductwork modifications and chilled water piping connections.
• Ensure proper refrigerant charging and system balancing.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting
• Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance.
• Diagnose faults in:
• Chillers (Air-cooled & Water-cooled)
• FCUs and AHUs
• Cooling towers
• Pumps and motors
• VRF/VRV systems
• Control panels and thermostats
• Repair or replace compressors, motors, expansion valves, sensors, and electrical components.
• Perform leak detection and refrigerant recovery in compliance with environmental standards.

Testing & Performance Monitoring
• Measure and record system parameters (temperature, pressure, voltage, current).
• Analyze system performance and recommend improvements.
• Conduct airflow measurements and balancing.
• Ensure proper static pressure and airflow compliance.

Electrical & Controls
• Troubleshoot control circuits, contactors, relays, overloads, and VFDs.
• Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and HVAC schematics.
• Coordinate with BMS teams for system integration and fault diagnosis.

Safety & Compliance
• Follow safety standards and PPE requirements.
• Handle refrigerants according to environmental regulations.
• Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with local HVAC codes and standards.

Leadership & Supervision
• Supervise junior technicians and helpers.
• Provide on-site technical guidance.
• Coordinate with supervisors and engineers for major works.

Required Qualifications
• Diploma / ITI / Technical Certification in HVAC or Mechanical field.
• 6+ years of hands-on HVAC experience.
• Valid refrigerant handling certification (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and refrigeration cycles.
• Ability to read drawings and technical manuals.
