Job Description

- Job Title:        Beauty Salon Attendant (Female)

- Department:        Community Services

- Reports To:        Recreations Coordinator

- Summary:        Responsible for several aspects of personal care and must be able to provide this care with understanding, knowledge, courtesy, and provide a wide range of services that include the care of the hair, skin and nails.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Duties

- Receive and manage appointments

- Cut, color and style hair to enhance a client's appearance

- Provide skin care

- Nail care and nail art

- Hair removal treatments.

- Makeup application

- Co-ordination of additional services as directed

- Administration for beauty salon

- Maintain excellent relationship with residents through quality customer service

- Provide reports to the management about sales, service type demand, etc...

- Maintain proper stock of beauty items required for the services

- Sales of beauty items

QUALIFICATIONS

- Must have relevant qualifications

- Multi-lingual skills essential with Arabic considered a distinct benefit

- Recognized training certificate in:

- Facial Work

- Manicure

- Pedicure

- Massage

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

- Secondary certification

- 3 years relevant experience

COMPUTER SKILLS

- Basic Computer Literacy is required
MINIUM 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN THE SAME FIELD,
