About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead a major road and infrastructure contracting organization in the Sultanate of Oman. This executive position is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of a high-volume Road, Infra & Bridges project, driving operational excellence, and delivering successful outcomes.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for multi-million-dollar road and infrastructure projects.
• Direct all project phases including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and execution.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.
• Lead and mentor a diverse team of project managers, engineers, and site supervisors.
• Coordinate with clients, government authorities, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain seamless operations.
• Monitor project financials, control costs, and optimize profitability without compromising quality.
• Drive innovation in construction methodologies and infrastructure solutions.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Minimum 20 years of experience in road and infrastructure contracting, with at least 5 years in a General Manager or equivalent executive role.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale road, infrastructure, and bridge projects.
• Deep knowledge of Oman's construction regulations, standards, and procurement processes.
• Strong financial acumen and experience with P&L management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Arab National (as per client requirement).
• Fluency in English and Arabic.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in the Sultanate of Oman or the GCC region.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• Familiarity with modern construction software and ERP systems.
• Strong network within the Omani infrastructure sector.
• Ability to manage cross-cultural teams and complex stakeholder relationships.
