Job Overview
OQEP is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal for Investor Relations and Stakeholders Management to join our team in Muscat, Oman. This role is part of the Asset & Finance division and focuses on Investor Relations and ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance). The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing relationships with investors and stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and alignment with company strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential investors, analysts, and financial institutions.
- Lead the preparation of investor presentations, quarterly earnings reports, and annual reports.
- Manage ESG reporting and initiatives, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the finance and procurement teams to provide accurate financial and operational data to stakeholders.
- Organize and facilitate investor roadshows, conferences, and meetings.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and investor sentiment to inform strategic decisions.
- Ensure compliance with disclosure and corporate governance regulations.
- Provide strategic advice to senior management on investor relations and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA is highly preferred.
- Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in investor relations, corporate finance, or stakeholder management, ideally within the oil & gas or energy sector.
- Proven track record in managing investor communications and ESG frameworks.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of Omani capital markets and regulatory environment is a plus.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
