Job Summary
The Public Relations Executive holds together the organization's public image. The role works with a variety of teams and departments to develop and implement strategies that promote positive public perception and strengthen brand reputation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Manage media relations, including drafting press releases, coordinating interviews, and building relationships with journalists.
- Monitor public opinion and media coverage, providing insights to leadership.
- Organize press conferences, events, and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
- Handle crisis communication and mitigate negative publicity.
- Maintain a database of media contacts and key stakeholders.
- Track and report on PR metrics, including reach, engagement, and sentiment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in public relations or corporate communications.
- Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities, strategic thinking, and proficiency in media monitoring tools.
- Language: Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Competencies: Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Qatari market or similar regional context.
- Existing network of media contacts in Qatar or the Gulf region.
- Knowledge of digital PR and social media management.
- Experience with event planning and execution.
