Senior Finance Manager - Oman
We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to lead financial operations and strategy for a dynamic organization operating in Oman's competitive market. This role requires a strategic finance professional with deep expertise in financial management, regulatory compliance, and business partnering within the Gulf region.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial operations including accounting, treasury, tax, and financial reporting
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes
- Ensure compliance with Oman financial regulations, IFRS, and local tax laws
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Drive cost optimization initiatives and improve financial performance metrics
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities
- Provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership and board members
- Supervise and mentor finance team members, fostering professional development
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and risk management frameworks
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CFA) strongly preferred
- Minimum 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with 5+ years in senior management
- Proven experience in Oman or GCC market essential
- Deep knowledge of Oman taxation, labor law, and commercial regulations
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Expert-level Excel and financial modeling capabilities
