What You'll Own

• Lead the design, implementation, and auditing of road safety systems across operational and project sites in Suhar.
• Conduct in-depth risk assessments and safety audits, translating findings into actionable improvements.
• Develop and enforce safety policies, procedures, and standards that align with global best practices and local regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, HSSE) to embed safety into every phase of road infrastructure projects.
• Monitor and report on safety performance metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage HSSE-related OPEX and CAPEX budgets, ensuring resources are allocated to highest-impact safety measures.

What You Bring

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in road safety engineering, with a proven track record in high-risk industrial or commercial environments.
• Certification: Professional engineering license (or equivalent) and advanced training in road safety auditing (e.g., RSO, RSA, or similar).
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of Oman's traffic and road safety regulations, as well as international standards (e.g., ISO 39001).
• Skills: Analytical rigor, strong communication, and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Mindset: Uncompromising commitment to safety, with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
