What You'll Own

• Oversee the complete accounts payable process, ensuring all invoices, payments, and expense reports are processed accurately and on time.
• Review and verify financial documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company policies.
• Manage vendor relationships, resolve discrepancies, and negotiate payment terms when needed.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of AP clerks, setting clear performance expectations and fostering a culture of accountability.
• Prepare and analyze AP aging reports, cash flow forecasts, and month-end closing activities.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and drive continuous improvement.

What You Bring

• Proven experience in accounts payable, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Deep understanding of accounting principles, AP processes, and ERP systems (experience with Oracle, SAP, or similar is a strong plus).
• Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Strong leadership and communication skills—you can inspire a team and hold them to high standards.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and composure.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
