Job Overview

As a Launch Logistics Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless introduction of new products into production, coordinating logistics, supply chain, and material flow to support launch timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate logistics activities for new product launches, including material readiness, supplier coordination, and inventory management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, quality, and supply chain) to ensure on-time delivery of components and systems.
• Monitor and optimize material flow to prevent production delays and minimize costs.
• Develop and maintain launch logistics schedules, risk assessments, and contingency plans.
• Identify and resolve supply chain issues, ensuring compliance with Autoliv's quality and safety standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in logistics and supply chain processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or production planning, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of logistics principles, inventory management, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with automotive safety standards and regulations.
• Strong leadership and team collaboration abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
