About the Role – Quality Process Engineer L2
As a Quality Process Engineering Specialist at Yazaki's Bizerte plant, you will act as a key link between production lines, quality assurance, and customer requirements. Your work will directly impact product reliability, customer satisfaction, and the plant's overall quality performance metrics. Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Monitor and analyze production process quality data to identify trends, defects, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and update quality control plans, inspection standards, and work instructions for manufacturing lines.
- Lead root cause analysis (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone) for internal non-conformities and customer complaints.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, and supply chain teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Prepare and present quality performance reports and KPIs to plant management and customer quality teams.
- Support internal and external quality audits, including ISO/TS 16949 and customer-specific requirements.
- Conduct Process FMEA and Control Plan reviews to proactively mitigate quality risks during new product introduction (NPI).
- Train production operators and supervisors on quality standards, inspection techniques, and defect awareness.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree (Bac+3 to Bac+5) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in quality process engineering within automotive manufacturing or a similar industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and core quality tools (SPC, MSA, FMEA, PPAP, APQP).
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and ability to interpret production data for decision-making.
- Experience with 8D problem-solving methodology and structured root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication skills in French and English; Arabic is a plus.
- Ability to work in a multicultural, high-volume production setting and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
