Responsable Supply Chain – Casablanca, Morocco
Join a leading industrial company specialized in the manufacturing of biscuits and chocolate, equipped with a modern and continuously evolving production tool. We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations in our Casablanca-based facility.
About the Role
As Responsable Supply Chain, you will be responsible for managing the entire supply chain process—from procurement and inventory management to logistics and distribution. This is a strategic leadership role that demands strong analytical capabilities, cross-functional coordination, and a continuous improvement mindset to ensure operational excellence in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with company objectives and production demands
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including supplier selection, negotiation, and relationship management
- Oversee inventory management to optimize stock levels, reduce waste, and ensure material availability for production
- Coordinate logistics and distribution operations to ensure timely delivery of finished products
- Lead and supervise the supply chain team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Monitor and analyze supply chain KPIs to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction
- Collaborate closely with production, quality, sales, and finance departments to ensure seamless operations
- Implement and maintain ERP systems and supply chain management tools for real-time visibility and reporting
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations related to import/export, food safety, and supply chain standards
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma, or other operational excellence methodologies
- Manage budgets and deliver cost-saving programs without compromising quality or service levels
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably within the food manufacturing or FMCG industry
- Proven expertise in procurement, inventory control, logistics planning, and distribution management
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and advanced Excel skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional projects
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities
- Fluency in French and English is required; Arabic is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory compliance in Morocco
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification such as CSCP, CPIM, or SCOR-P
- Experience with demand forecasting and S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) processes
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience managing international supply chains and import/export operations
- Track record of delivering measurable cost savings and efficiency improvements
