About the Role
Tap Payments is revolutionizing online payments across the MENA region by connecting businesses with simple, unified payment experiences. We are seeking a Merchant Experience Consultant to join our team and help drive exceptional merchant satisfaction and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for merchants, ensuring a seamless and positive payment experience
- Onboard new merchants and guide them through Tap Payments' platform and solutions
- Analyze merchant feedback and identify opportunities to improve the overall payment journey
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and sales to address merchant needs
- Monitor merchant performance metrics and proactively resolve issues to minimize churn
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key merchant accounts across the MENA region
- Provide training and support to merchants on payment tools, integrations, and best practices
- Prepare reports and presentations on merchant experience trends and recommendations
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in merchant services, account management, customer success, or a related consulting role
- Strong understanding of online payment ecosystems, fintech, and digital commerce
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Proficiency in CRM tools and merchant management platforms
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a strong advantage
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple merchant accounts simultaneously
- Problem-solving orientation with a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences
