About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join a leading healthcare organization in Kuwait. This role is ideal for a human resources professional with a strong background in healthcare HR management and a deep understanding of Kuwait Labor Law. The successful candidate will oversee all HR operations, ensure compliance with local labor regulations, and support the organization's workforce strategy within the medical and health services sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all human resources functions within a healthcare setting, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and staff retention.
- Ensure full compliance with Kuwait Labor Law and all relevant HR regulations governing the private healthcare sector.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices tailored to the healthcare environment.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution in a professional and legally compliant manner.
- Oversee payroll processing, leave management, and benefits administration for all staff members.
- Coordinate with department heads to identify staffing needs and execute recruitment strategies for medical, administrative, and support personnel.
- Maintain accurate and confidential HR records, personnel files, and documentation in accordance with data protection standards.
- Support training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career progression within the organization.
- Prepare regular HR reports, workforce analytics, and management presentations for senior leadership.
- Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes employee engagement, well-being, and organizational excellence.
Requirements
- Proven HR management experience in a healthcare setting (hospital, clinic, medical center, or health services organization).
- Strong knowledge of Kuwait Labor Law and its application in HR operations and employee management.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English — written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage employee relations, recruitment cycles, and performance evaluation systems.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HR information systems (HRIS) and standard office software.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment in handling sensitive HR matters.
Preferred Skills
- HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent) is a strong advantage.
- Experience with healthcare-specific compliance and accreditation standards.
- Knowledge of Kuwait's Ministry of Health regulations and licensing requirements for healthcare staff.
- Experience in workforce planning and talent management within the medical sector.
