Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Night Auditor to join our team in Tunis. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations during overnight hours. The Night Auditor is responsible for reviewing daily financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing reports that reflect the property's financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy and completeness
• Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information
• Audit daily revenue reports and correct any discrepancies
• Prepare and distribute end-of-day financial summaries to management
• Verify cash, credit card, and electronic payment transactions
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures
• Coordinate with front desk and accounting departments to resolve posting errors
• Generate occupancy and revenue reports for review by senior management
• Maintain confidentiality of all financial data and guest information

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in numerical work
• Proficiency in accounting software and computerized financial systems
• Solid understanding of auditing principles and financial reporting standards
• Ability to work independently during overnight/night shift hours
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Good communication skills for cross-departmental coordination
• Knowledge of hospitality industry financial operations is a strong advantage

Experience Requirements

• Previous experience in night auditing, accounting, or financial reconciliation is preferred
• Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS) is an asset
• Understanding of end-of-day closing procedures and revenue management

Working Conditions

This position requires working night shift hours in a fast-paced hospitality or financial environment. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working independently during overnight periods and be prepared to handle end-of-day financial close procedures efficiently.
