What Does a Fullstack Web Developer Do?
As a Fullstack Engineer, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing both the front-end and back-end of our core SaaS product. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UX designers, and fellow engineers to deliver seamless user experiences and robust server-side architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and back-end services
- Design and manage relational and non-relational databases
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code following best practices
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the entire application stack
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure platform scalability and reliability
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Fullstack Developer, Software Engineer, or Web Application Developer
- Strong proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, React or Vue.js)
- Solid back-end development experience (Node.js, Python, PHP, or Java)
- Familiarity with database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure and deployment (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills in English; French is a plus
