Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Keeper to oversee daily warehouse operations, maintain precise inventory control, and manage the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of materials. This role is critical to ensuring supply chain continuity and operational accuracy within a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery notes
• Organize and maintain warehouse layout for optimal space utilization and easy access
• Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels, locations, and movements in real time
• Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies with procurement and finance teams
• Prepare and dispatch materials for internal departments or external customers per authorized requisitions
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security protocols including proper handling of hazardous materials
• Maintain cleanliness, order, and proper labeling across all storage zones
• Coordinate with logistics providers for timely inbound and outbound freight scheduling
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management review
• Support audit processes by providing accurate documentation and physical access to stock

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Keeper, Storekeeper, or Inventory Controller in a commercial or industrial setting
• Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or similar WMS platforms)
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel for data analysis, pivot tables, and reporting
• Familiarity with barcode scanning, RFID systems, and digital documentation workflows
• Knowledge of stock valuation methods (FIFO, LIFO, weighted average) and reconciliation procedures
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack) — certification a plus
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with high attention to detail
• Effective communication skills for cross-functional coordination with procurement, logistics, and finance
• Basic understanding of customs regulations and import/export documentation (advantageous)

Experience & Education

Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on warehouse experience in a similar capacity. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a diploma or certification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Inventory Control is highly preferred. Candidates with experience in manufacturing, wholesale distribution, or e-commerce fulfillment centers will be given priority.
