Digital Product Owner – Egypt
Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract (12 months) | Working Hours: 40 hours per week
At Bupa, we're dedicated to helping people live longer, healthier, happier lives and creating a better world of health. We are seeking a dedicated Digital Product Owner to join our team in Egypt and drive the development and delivery of innovative digital health products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the product roadmap for digital health solutions, ensuring alignment with Bupa's strategic objectives and customer needs.
- Define product vision, goals, and success metrics in collaboration with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and business stakeholders.
- Gather, prioritize, and manage the product backlog, translating business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and user feedback sessions to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation.
- Work closely with UX/UI designers and development teams to ensure seamless user experiences across digital platforms.
- Monitor product performance using data analytics and KPIs, making data-driven decisions to optimize features and functionality.
- Stakeholder management: communicate product updates, progress, and trade-offs to senior leadership and key partners.
- Ensure all digital products comply with relevant healthcare regulations, data privacy standards, and accessibility requirements.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as a Digital Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role within the digital/technology sector.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience working in sprint-based development environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to inform product decisions.
- Experience with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, or similar platforms.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of digital health, insurtech, or healthcare technology is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in product management or agile practices (e.g., CSPO, PSPO) is a plus.
