Role Overview

Egis, an international player in architecture, consulting, construction engineering, and mobility services, is seeking an Assistant Resident Engineer to join their team in Kuwait. This role involves supporting the resident engineering team in overseeing construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to design specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Resident Engineer in supervising construction activities and ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor project progress, prepare daily reports, and document site activities.
• Conduct inspections of materials, workmanship, and safety protocols.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, and technical submittals.
• Support in managing project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction engineering, preferably in infrastructure or building projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
