Job Purpose

Mace is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead breakwater and marine infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day construction operations for breakwater projects, including coordination of subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Develop and implement construction schedules, resource plans, and progress reports.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
• Monitor quality control and compliance with project specifications and design drawings.
• Resolve technical and logistical issues promptly to maintain project momentum.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to provide regular project updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years focused on marine or breakwater projects.
• Strong knowledge of marine construction methods, materials, and equipment.
• Proven track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects on schedule and within budget.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM) are highly desirable.
