Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Equine Veterinarian to provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive healthcare services for horses. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating illnesses, performing routine check-ups, and ensuring the overall well-being of equine patients. This role requires a strong background in large animal medicine and a passion for equine health.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations on horses.


• Diagnose and treat equine illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions.


• Conduct surgical procedures and provide post-operative care.


• Administer vaccinations, deworming, and preventive medicine programs.


• Advise horse owners and trainers on nutrition, stable management, and general equine care.


• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients.


• Respond to emergency calls and provide urgent veterinary care as needed.


• Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine and equine healthcare practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.


• Valid veterinary license to practice in Kuwait.


• Proven experience in equine veterinary medicine or large animal practice.


• Strong diagnostic and surgical skills specific to horses.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client education.


• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and emergency on-call duties.


• Physical stamina to handle large animals and work in various environmental conditions.
