About the Role

We are seeking a professional and experienced Senior Catering Server to join our premium dining team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional customer service, manage table service for high-volume events, and ensure every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience. This position is ideal for a career-driven server with a passion for hospitality and a keen eye for detail.

Core Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests warmly, presenting menus and explaining daily specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring special requests are communicated to the kitchen.
• Serve meals and drinks promptly, adhering to fine dining presentation standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any concerns immediately.
• Assist with table setup, linen placement, and silverware arrangement for events and banquets.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Process payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and issue receipts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing and resetting tables.
• Train and mentor junior servers on service protocols and company standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a waiter or server in a high-end restaurant, hotel, or catering environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Valid food handler certification or willingness to obtain.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with fine dining service techniques (e.g., silver service, wine pairing).
• Knowledge of POS systems (e.g., Micros, Toast) and cash handling.
• Multilingual abilities (English and Arabic) are a strong plus.
• Previous experience in banquet or event catering.
• Certification in hospitality or food service management.
