- The Lead QA Engineer will play a significant role in ensuring
that Saudi Steel Pipe Company internal quality processes meet
our customer’s expectations by establishing methodologies,
standards and procedures for requirements analysis, test plan
preparation, test procedure development and execution, and
documentation of results and reporting. The Lead QA Engineer must
has Good interpersonal skills to interface with staff, vendors,
and customers. in addition must be responsive, and possess the
ability to communicate complex technical details at appropriate
levels.
• Main Duties and Responsibilities
•
Duties include but are not limited to perform the following:

- Develop and maintain QA work instructions, check sheets,
inspection records
- Develop, implements, and continuously
improves process effectiveness and efficiency
- Develops
process improvement plans using a variety of Quality and
Continuous Process Improvement tools
- Establish
methodologies, standards and procedures for requirements
analysis, test plan preparation, test procedure development and
execution, documentation of results and reporting.
- Prepare
performance charts on various quality indicators, coordinate
efforts towards continuous improvement
- Trains engineering
and manufacturing teams on compliance requirements, procedures
and practices
- Identify corrective and preventive actions
and lead implementation of short term and long term corrective
action
- Conduct root cause analysis and provide solutions
to problems
- Coordinate QA efforts related to new
production lines and components; quality improvement; and cost
reduction
University
• Desired Skills and
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an
Accredited
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality
Assurance in Steel Pipe industry or similar field
- Must
have working knowledge of ISO 9001 and API Q1
- Must have
strong familiarity working with Destructive and Non Destructive
Testing specifications and standards
- Demonstrated ability
to lead, acknowledge, develop, communicate & implement a
strategy to ensure compliance.
- Strong statistical
analysis background (Six Sigma certification will be a plus)

- Experience with the lean principles of Standardization
and proven ability to implement and sustain standardized
processes.
- Ability to present data effectively in various
formats; Word/Excel tables/PowerPoint presentations

verbal communication skills required

Q1
Experience with API 5L Standard
Experience with material
testing standards
ISO 9001 Lead auditor certification
Six
black belt certification or Certified Quality
Engineer
