Job Description – Site Engineer / Supervisor General
Description: A leading construction company in Muscat is seeking
an experienced and highly skilled Site Engineer or Supervisor to
oversee building construction projects, ensure daily site
operations, and guarantee that all work is executed in accordance
with approved drawings and engineering standards. Duties and
Responsibilities: Daily supervision of construction activities
on site and ensuring compliance with drawings and
specifications. Coordinating between technical teams,
subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Monitoring the quality
of materials used and ensuring they meet required standards.
Preparing periodic progress reports and submitting them to
management. Ensuring the application of health and safety
standards on site. Following up on the project schedule and
ensuring adherence to deadlines and cost
estimates. Qualifications and Required Experience: Bachelor’s
degree or diploma in Civil Engineering. Minimum of 5 years of
experience supervising building projects in the Sultanate of
Oman. Strong knowledge of the construction materials and
finishing materials market in Oman. Familiarity with municipal
regulations and Omani technical standards. Ability to read and
interpret engineering drawings. Proficiency in engineering
software such as AutoCAD, MS Project, and Excel. Preferred
Qualifications: Valid and transferable residency (for non-Omani
candidates). Proficiency in English (spoken and written). Valid
Omani driving license. Background in dealing with consultants
