- The Field Service
Specialist/Support Engineer will be responsible For Customer's
installations and supporting software solutions. The Field
Service specialist/Support Engineer must have a good
understanding of the delivery
processes.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in any
STEM (Science Technology Engineering & Mathematics)
disciplines with relevant experience in the upstream side of the
Oil and Gas industry.
• Proven experience in IT/Networking
related to the Oil and Gas industry.
• Proven
understanding of drilling processes, drilling data and drilling
operations.
• IT certifications, preferably Windows Server
system administration, Cloud systems, Networking.
• Proven
technical support experience is a plus
• Offshore safety
certificates are a plus.
• Able to understand SW
development cycle is a plus.
• Excellent written and
verbal English.
Experience:
• 5+ years of proven
experience as a Field Service Engineer for Drilling Operations or
IT projects related to the Oil and Gas industry.
• 2-3
year of proven experience with Testing/Support for Drilling
software and Real Time applications.
• 1-2 years of proven
experience with IT Support/Network/Windows servers
•
Experience with WITSML based applications is a plus.
•
Good knowledge of IT related Hardware and Software
• 3+
years’ experience with Kongsberg Digital in a similar
role.

company and with external customers/contacts.The support
personnel should perform the Management of Real-Time Rig/Well
data at customer location.
Requirements:-
- Experience
in deploying and configuring the Web based systems.

Working skills in the supporting technologies including MS Server
2016 and above, IIS, Office 365, MS Messaging - Queue and SQL
2016 and above.
- Candidate with the WITSML knowledge is
preferred.
- Good communication / writing skills to interact
with rig operators, subsurface, drilling engineering teams,
IT&S and other disciplines.
- Have or be willing to
acquire all required safety certification and other training as
may be required by Baker Hughes and/or Saudi Aramco.

Flexibility to work in 24x7 environment.
