Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Accountant located in Amman, Jordan. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records and reports, reconciling bank statements, processing invoices, handling accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with budget preparation. The role requires accurate and timely data entry, financial analysis, and maintaining compliance with financial policies and regulations.


Qualifications

*Accounting and Finance skills including financial reporting, bank reconciliation, and budget preparation
*Proficiency in accounts payable and receivable processing
*Strong data entry skills and attention to detail for accurate financial recording
*Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
*Excellent organizational and time management skills
*Effective written and verbal communication skills
*Bachelor’s degree in Accounting,
*Previous experience in the shipping or logistics industry is a plus
