Key Responsibilities

  • Assess student progress through formative and summative assessment strategies, providing timely feedback and differentiated support to meet diverse learning needs.

Requirements

Hard Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a closely related science discipline; Master's degree preferred.
  • Recognized teaching certification (PGCE, QTS, US State Licensure, or equivalent) with secondary science specialization.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience teaching Chemistry at secondary level (Grades 9-12 / Years 10-13) in an international or British curriculum school.

  • Strong command of laboratory management, chemical safety procedures (CLEAPSS or equivalent), and practical assessment moderation.
