Overview
Sofrecom, an international leader in telecom consulting, is seeking an experienced Administrateur Système (F/H) to join our agile and ambitious team in Rabat or Casablanca, Morocco. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will ensure the smooth operation and high availability of our client's systems.
Key Responsibilities
- System administration: Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows servers, ensuring security patches and updates are applied regularly.
- Infrastructure monitoring: Proactively monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents within defined SLAs.
- Backup & recovery: Implement and manage backup solutions to guarantee data integrity and business continuity.
- Virtualization management: Administer virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V) for optimal resource utilization.
- Network coordination: Collaborate with network engineers to maintain firewall, switching, and routing configurations.
- Automation & scripting: Develop scripts (Bash, Python, PowerShell) to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Security compliance: Enforce IT security policies and participate in vulnerability assessments.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed system documentation and procedures for knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in system administration (Linux and Windows).
- Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Experience with backup solutions (Veeam, NetBackup) and disaster recovery planning.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Fluency in French and English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as RHCE, MCSA, VCP, or ITIL.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Previous experience in the telecom sector.
