Role Overview

As a Second Shift Technician at The Ritz-Carlton, Doha, you will be part of the Engineering & Facilities team responsible for maintaining the highest standards of luxury and operational efficiency. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all hotel systems and equipment function seamlessly during the second shift, supporting the hotel's commitment to exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all engineering systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
• Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests, ensuring minimal disruption to hotel operations.
• Conduct routine inspections of facility infrastructure, identifying potential issues before they escalate.
• Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, parts used, and system performance.
• Collaborate with the Engineering team to implement energy-saving and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

Hard Skills:

• Technical diploma or certification in engineering, HVAC, electrical, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a technician in a luxury hotel or similar high-end facility.
• Hands-on knowledge of building management systems, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work second shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
