Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated French Teacher to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have experience with the IB curriculum, although we welcome applications from educators with the right skills to adapt to a new curriculum using a student-centered, inquiry-based approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging French language lessons to students, fostering a love for the language and culture.
• Implement inquiry-based learning strategies to encourage critical thinking and student participation.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners, ensuring all students achieve their potential.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine curriculum materials and teaching practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in French, Education, or a related field.
• Teaching certification or license.
• Proven experience teaching French, preferably within an IB or international school setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme or Middle Years Programme.
• Native or near-native fluency in French.
• Familiarity with student-centered and inquiry-based pedagogies.
