About the Role
Nestlé Maroc SA is seeking an experienced Associate Director, Supply Chain to lead end-to-end supply chain operations across the North West Africa Cluster. This strategic leadership role is based in Casablanca and is responsible for driving top-line growth, optimizing operational efficiency, and ensuring supply chain excellence across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the entire supply chain function including planning, sourcing, logistics, and distribution across the North West Africa Cluster.
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies that align with business objectives to support growth and profitability.
- Manage demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and cost reduction initiatives to enhance service levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and finance to ensure seamless integration of supply chain activities.
- Drive continuous improvement through lean methodologies, digital transformation, and best-in-class supply chain practices.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to meet targets.
- Ensure compliance with Nestlé quality, safety, and sustainability standards.
- Build and develop a high-performing supply chain team through coaching and talent management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of leading end-to-end supply chain operations in a multinational FMCG environment.
- Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities in English and French; Arabic is a plus.
- Experience in the North Africa region is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as APICS, CSCP, or equivalent.
- Experience with SAP or other advanced ERP systems.
- Knowledge of supply chain sustainability and digitalization trends.
