Job Overview

Parsons is seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural / Bridge Design Engineer to join our team in Qatar. In this role, you will lead the design and analysis of complex bridge structures, ensuring safety, durability, and cost-effectiveness. You will work on landmark infrastructure projects that shape the future of transportation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced structural analysis and design of bridges (concrete, steel, composite) using software such as SAP2000, MIDAS Civil, or STAAD.Pro.
• Prepare and review detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure designs comply with international codes (AASHTO, Eurocodes, British Standards) and local Qatari regulations.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including geotechnical, traffic, and environmental engineers.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction phases.
• Mentor junior engineers and review their work for accuracy and quality.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in structural/bridge design engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) status is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale bridge projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and sustainability practices.
