About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to join our finance team. This role is pivotal in driving financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis to support business decisions. The ideal candidate will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver actionable insights, optimize financial performance, and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Perform variance analysis (actuals vs. budget/forecast) and communicate key drivers to leadership.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting packages with KPIs and commentary.
• Support the annual budgeting cycle and periodic re-forecasting processes across business units.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis for strategic initiatives, capital allocation, and investment decisions.
• Collaborate with accounting to ensure data integrity and timely month-end close processes.
• Automate reporting workflows using advanced Excel, Power BI, or similar BI tools.
• Partner with department heads to challenge assumptions and improve forecast accuracy.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or management consulting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, macros).
• Strong understanding of financial statements, GAAP, and financial modeling best practices.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Skills

• CFA, CPA, or MBA designation.
• Experience with FP&A software (Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, Workday Adaptive Planning).
• Python or SQL for data extraction and automation.
• Background in multinational or matrix organizations.
• Familiarity with rolling forecasts and driver-based planning methodologies.
