Job Overview
B5 Cosmetics, a leading Moroccan beauty company founded in 2012 by the Benabdallah family, is seeking a Management Controller (Contrôleur de Gestion) to join their finance team in Bouskoura, near Casablanca. This role is pivotal in driving financial performance, cost control, and strategic decision-making within a fast-growing cosmetics manufacturing and distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain management reporting packages, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analyses.
- Monitor and analyze production costs, margins, and variances across product lines.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and rolling projections in collaboration with department heads.
- Implement and improve internal control procedures to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.
- Support inventory valuation, standard costing updates, and reconciliation of manufacturing variances.
- Provide actionable insights to senior management on profitability, pricing, and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with Moroccan accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in financial processes and reporting automation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Management Control, or related field.
- Professional certification (CMA, CPA, DSCG, or equivalent) is a strong advantage.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in management controlling, financial analysis, or audit, preferably within manufacturing, FMCG, or cosmetics sectors.
- Proven experience in cost accounting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Fluency in French and Arabic; English proficiency is highly desirable.
Technical Skills
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Power Query, modeling).
- ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Sage, or similar) – hands-on experience required.
- Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau) for dashboard creation.
- Strong knowledge of Moroccan GAAP and tax legislation.
- Costing methodologies: standard costing, activity-based costing, margin analysis.
