Senior Products & Systems Engineer / Technical Leader
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Products & Systems Engineer to serve as a Technical Leader driving the development, integration, and assurance of complex engineering products and solutions across multiple disciplines. This role demands deep expertise in systems engineering, product lifecycle management, and cross-functional technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end systems engineering process for product development, from requirements definition through design, verification, and validation.
- Define and maintain product architecture, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory standards, and scalability requirements.
- Apply advanced engineering practices and methodologies (MBSE, V-Model, Agile) to optimize product performance, reliability, and time-to-market.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, mechanical, and quality engineering to deliver integrated solutions.
- Drive risk management, FMEA, and hazard analysis activities to ensure product safety and compliance.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Own technical decision-making for critical product issues, trade-off studies, and change management.
- Interface with stakeholders, suppliers, and customers to translate needs into technical specifications.
- Contribute to engineering strategy, roadmap planning, and technology evaluation for future product generations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.
- Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in products and systems engineering within complex, regulated industries (automotive, aerospace, medical devices, industrial automation).
- Proven track record as a Technical Lead or Principal Engineer on multi-disciplinary product development programs.
- Deep knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), SysML, DOORS, Cameo, or similar tools.
- Strong command of requirements engineering, architecture definition, interface control, and verification & validation (V&V) planning.
- Experience with safety-critical standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61508, DO-178C, ISO 13485) and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical reviews, design reviews, and gate reviews.
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in Engineering or related discipline.
- Certification: INCOSE CSEP/ASEP, PMP, or Six Sigma Black Belt.
- Experience with digital twin, simulation-driven design, and PLM systems (Windchill, Teamcenter, Aras).
- Background in IoT, embedded systems, cyber-physical systems, or AI/ML integration in products.
- Prior experience in Morocco or North Africa engineering ecosystem.
