Sofrecom, a leading telecommunications and digital services subsidiary of Orange Group, seeks a skilled DevOps Engineer to join their agile technology team in Rabat, Morocco. This role centers on building scalable cloud infrastructure, automating deployment pipelines, and ensuring high availability for mission-critical applications. Core Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions for microservices architectures
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Ansible
- Configure and optimize container orchestration platforms including Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, or OpenShift
- Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting stacks with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog
- Automate security scanning, compliance checks, and vulnerability management across development lifecycles
- Collaborate with development teams to improve build times, deployment frequency, and mean time to recovery
- Manage configuration drift, secrets management, and disaster recovery strategies for production environments
- Drive platform reliability engineering practices including SLO/SLI definition and error budget management
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years professional experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or Cloud Infrastructure Specialist
- Advanced proficiency with Linux administration, shell scripting (Bash/Python), and version control (Git)
- Hands-on expertise with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container technologies
- Strong experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi) and configuration management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
- Proven track record designing resilient, observable systems with distributed tracing and centralized logging
- Fluent in French and English; Arabic proficiency considered a strong asset for local collaboration
