About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Kindergarten Teacher to join a dynamic early childhood education team in Muscat. This role is pivotal in shaping the foundational learning experiences of young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development through a nurturing and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that align with early childhood education curricula, including Montessori methods where applicable.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Assess and monitor each child's progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children's development and address any concerns.
• Organize and supervise play-based learning activities, arts and crafts, and outdoor play.
• Maintain classroom discipline and ensure the well-being of all children at all times.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree (BEd, BA, BSci) in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Early Childhood Development, or a related field.
• Montessori training certificate or equivalent is highly valued.
• Any additional coursework or certification in child development or pedagogy.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience teaching kindergarten or early years students.
• Strong understanding of developmental milestones and age-appropriate instructional strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage in this Muscat-based role.
